Our Story

Lee's Pony Therapy a 501(c)(3) non-profit foundation was founded by Tonya Gullo, inspired by her childhood years spent with her mother, aunts and uncles, Lynda, Bill, Dee, Lizabeth and Lillian on their ranches in Oregon. They instilled in her a deep love and understanding of horses, which she now carries forward through her work. Some of Tonya's fondest memories are from the days spent learning and caring for horses alongside her relatives. After Lee's passing, Tonya created Lee's Pony Therapy to honor his legacy and continue his commitment to preserving horses while providing equine therapy to those in need. Our foundation is dedicated to offering therapeutic programs for veterans, children, and individuals with disabilities, while also rescuing and rehabilitating horses, ensuring their well-being for generations to come.

A heartfelt thank you to my mom and family, whose endless love and support have made my dreams possible. With their guidance, I’ve learned not only how to rescue and care for horses but also how to train these magnificent animals to bring healing and joy to others. Their belief in me has been the foundation of everything I do, and together, with love at the heart of it all, we are making the world a better place for both horses and the people whose lives they touch.
