“Pumpkin”

My name is Pumpkin, and I live here at Lee’s Pony Therapy, where I have found healing, peace, and the loving care of so many kind souls. You see, my journey here was not an easy one. It all began with a brutal accident on Highway 74. My previous owner lost control while navigating a tricky, narrow passage over the hill. The truck and trailer tumbled over the cliff, and though I’m lucky to be alive, it left me with lasting injuries. My legs have never been quite the same since; I walk with a bit of stiffness and have arthritis now, a constant reminder of that day. But with anti-inflammatory medications and pain meds, the kind humans here help me manage it, and I’m able to stay comfortable.

I’ve healed in ways that matter most—on the inside. I’ve become happy again, and my heart is so full of gratitude. Every day, I look forward to the love and attention I get from everyone here. When they come by, I give them my best nuzzles and bright eyes to let them know just how much their care means to me.

Here at Lee’s Pony Therapy, I’ve found my safe place, and each day, I feel so lucky to be part of this family.
